SOL turns orange to green welcoming their all-new electric forklift to its fleet of vehicles and machinery.
SOL has recently taken delivery of a new state-of-the-art lithium electric forklift truck for their factory in Dodworth.
Offering a range of energy saving products across the SolarFrame Holdings group, sustainability is at the forefront of SOL’s busines objectives. By welcoming an all-new electric forklift we reduce our carbon footprint and improve our corporate responsibility (CR).
The EFL252 electric forklift promises zero emissions when compared to diesel forklifts which have 25x more carbon emissions than a car.
Operations Manager Darren Spencer said: “The introduction of our electric forklift is a stepping stone in our path to increasing our sustainability as well as lowering costs.
The new forklift features ultra rapid charging enabling us to get more use out of the forklift and use it for an extended period of time, more frequently. It also reduces on monthly maintenance costs and is expected to reduce running costs by around 80%.
This is the first electric forklift here at SOL and we’re excited to welcome some more new additions in the future”.
